It’s time to Deck the (Great) Hall with holiday cheer! Each year, during the month of December we transform our Great Hall into a Winter Wonderland for all to enjoy! From December 5 to January 3, we invite you to visit Fontenelle Forest and experience this festive holiday display of decorated trees and wreaths. Open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Sunday. Mask required while inside Nature Center. Free for members or with daily admission for non-members.

Join us for Yoga at the Forest, Sunday mornings from 8:15-9:00 a.m.  Enjoy a gentle Hatha-style yoga class surrounded by the beauty of the Forest. Yoga will take place outside on Dennis Plaza when the weather allows. During the colder months, it will be moved inside into the Forest Room. Join our Naturalist Educators each Sunday on a guided hike along the beautiful trails of Fontenelle Forest. All hikes will be from 2:00-4:00 pm and last 2 hours, traversing easy to moderate terrain. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Masks will be required whenever hikers cannot maintain a 6-foot distance from one another. What makes a habitat a home? Using Fontenelle Forest as inspiration, participants at this holiday event can bring their imaginations and create a one-of-a-kind Gingerbread Habitat.
