day Camps at Fontenelle forest

At Fontenelle Forest, we believe that today’s children are tomorrow’s stewards. Our day camps offer a vital connection with the forests,  prairies and wetlands that children often only learn about through books or television.

Through games, activities and time to explore, we will provide the framework for a life-long love for the natural world. Our day camps feature science-based learning through play. Our staff is committed to providing your child with high-quality, positive outdoor experiences for children of all ages. Our campers, surrounded by nature, dive into the unknown and have adventures that develop great life skills while led by enthusiastic counselors.

We are excited to be offering another year of amazing experiences here at Fontenelle Forest. Click the buttons below to learn more about our spring, summer and winter day camp options.

SUN is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. See the calendar for specific dates/topics.

Many seniors grew up in a time when nature was a big part of everyday life. Our Seniors Understanding Nature programs enhance that experience. Refreshments will be available. This program is free for members or with daily admission.
