School Program Manager

The School Programs Manager leads the development and delivery of K-12 standards-based learning, teacher education and after-school programs. The School Programs Manager is responsible for a wide variety of environmental and nature-based education.

Raptor Care Specialist

Fontenelle Forest is seeking a Custodial Maintenance Attendant to join our team.  The ideal candidate for this role feels accomplished after putting in a day’s work, is detail-oriented, and a team-player.


Part Time Naturalist Educator

Position type: part-time, non-exempt Salary: Starts at $10.25/hour DOE Benefits: membership privileges. Open until filled. 

The part-time Naturalist Educator is an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who supports Fontenelle Forest’s mission to support discovery of the quiet wild of nature and inspire current and future generations to care for the natural world. The Educator facilitates nature-based programs during the school year (January-May, August-December) with additional summer work (June-July) available. Successful candidates should be available to facilitate a minimum of 4 programs per week (12-16 hours).



Marketing Intern

Are you learning marketing or journalism and want to work for a non-profit? Maybe you are studying environmental sciences and want to learn more about marketing. Fontenelle Forest seeks a creative self‐starter to assist Fontenelle Forest with its communications efforts.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing and development while working for a well‐known, community based non‐profit organization. Please note: This is an unpaid position.
