October 8, 2019 @ 4:45 am - 6:00 am

Seniors Understanding Nature (SUN) Square Meter Project graphic

Come join us for our monthly Seniors Understanding Nature (SUN) program at the Nature Center! Snacks and coffee are available before the presentation, and an optional guided walk on the boardwalk is offered following the program. This program is free for members or with daily admission for non-members.

This month we will hear from Chris Helzer, Director of Science at the Nature Conservancy in Nebraska, for a presentation on the Square Meter Project. Chris will share the unexpected lessons he learned from sitting – and the abundance of life present in even the smallest spaces.
