September 10, 2019 @ 4:45 am - 6:00 am

Free – $11

Come join us for our monthly Seniors Understanding Nature program at the Nature Center! Snacks and coffee are available before the presentation, and an optional guided walk on the boardwalk is offered following the program.

This month we will hear from Jody Green, who is the Extension Educator with UNL’s Nebraska Extension. Jody will be diving into interesting stories about some of the most notable, lovable and despised insects outdoors in Southeast Nebraska. Get to know some of the tiny organisms that thrive all around us, whether we choose to see them or try to look away. Insects and spiders are so much a part of our world and they are truly fascinating in their form, function, behavior, and ecology.
