(SOLD OUT) Perseid Meteor Shower Trek at Neale Woods

The Perseid Meteor Shower is the brightest shower of the summer, and you won’t want to miss it! This event takes place during the peak of the Perseid Shower – there could be as many as 60-100 meteors in one hour!
Join volunteer Naturalist, Bob Fuchs, at Neale Woods for a night of stargazing! We’ll start out the evening with an easy-to-moderate hike that will last about one hour. Then, once it gets dark, we’ll take folding chairs into the Neale Woods prairie and look for meteors! If there are too many clouds to see the meteors, we’ll continue the evening with a night hike.
Maximum of 20 people. Pre-registration is required.
This event is $5 for members and $15 for non-members. Members must sign in to receive discount.
