On-site Summer Camps are Back! Scholarships available!

On-site summer camps are back!

We are excited to announce that we will be offering on-site summer camps at Fontenelle Forest from July 6 to July 31.

Campers will explore the Forest through nature-based activities designed to foster a love of the natural world.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and local health guidelines, we’ll be operating a new and exciting camp model this summer in order to keep our campers safe!

WHAT DOES OUR ON-SITE FONTENELLE NATURE CAMP INCLUDE?

This year’s camp will feature daily themes, versus the weekly themes featured in past years. Our daily themes will include activities unique to each camper’s age group. Campers will get a taste of each of our previous camp themes in this exciting, adventure-packed week!

Our days will start with drop-off between 8:30 a.m and 9:00 a.m.

Campers ages 9-12 will be located at Camp Wa-Kon-Da at 402 Forest Dr, Bellevue, NE 68005. Campers ages 6-8 will be located at Camp Brewster at 1313 Bellevue Blvd N, Bellevue, NE 68005.

We’ll spend the mornings playing games until everyone arrives, then starting our daily activities. Campers will eat their packed lunch outside on the lawn or spread out across picnic tables. Afternoon activities will go until pickup, which is from 3:00 p.m to 3:30 p.m.

Aftercare is available for an additional fee of $50/week from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can get details about aftercare on our summer camp webpage (see link below).

Scholarship information:
We have a limited number of scholarships available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Scholarships will be awarded to students who receive free or reduced lunch in the Free or Reduced School Lunch Program.

Our camp capacity is limited due to Covid-19, so we strongly encourage scholarship applications to be submitted as soon as possible. Apply for a camp scholarship by clicking the button below.
