We Dig History

What is archeology? What does it mean to excavate? How does history affect me today?
Uncover the answers to these questions and more through an immersive archeological adventure at Fontenelle Forest! Participants will check out the Trading Post bicentennial exhibit, participate in a mock archeological dig, and go on a guided hike with a Naturalist Educator. Join us and discover the fascinating history of our Forest with the young scientist in your life.
This event is good for kids pre-k through 4th grade, families and those who are kids at heart.

EDUCATIONAL TRADING POST DOCENTS
On select Saturdays, a volunteer educational docent will be available in the early afternoons (times may vary).
Guests will be able to view natural artifacts, ask questions about the Fontenelle Trading Post and learn interesting facts!
