Why are we holding a Blood Drive on May 18? Lots of reasons!
The Red Cross contacted us at Fontenelle Forest asking if we could hold an emergency blood drive since so many hosting venues are still under water from this spring’s flood.
May 18 is a special day for us at the Forest, and all of Bellevue, as it is National Armed Services Day. This is a day of the year to celebrate all of our branches of the military and celebrate those active, retired, and no longer with us. This is the beginning of a summer where Fontenelle Forest invites active military families to enjoy the Forest for FREE all summer!
We at Fontenelle Forest see our Nature Center as a place for the community to come together – be it to vote in elections, donate blood, go for a hike, or celebrate a wedding. Come do your part for the community Saturday, May 18, here at Fontenelle Forest!
