Raptor ID: Basics and Beyond

Raptor identification doesn’t have to be tricky. This program will teach you how to more easily differentiate between different types of raptors.
During this program you will learn to identify the main groups of raptors, focusing mostly on the types commonly found in Nebraska. You will also gain insight into more advanced raptor classifications. Enjoy a live raptor demonstration as well as a guided tour through the Raptor Woodland Refuge here at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center.
This program is led by our knowledgeable volunteers and staff. There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor learning, so come dressed accordingly.
