Pileated Woodpecker and Spring Bird Hike
March 25 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Grab your binoculars and join us for a Naturalist guided hike through the woods of Camp Wa-Kon-Da in search of Pileated Woodpeckers!
Pileated Woodpeckers are known to be uncommon in the Forest. However, there have been more frequent sightings at Camp Wa-Kon-Da. The guided hike will consist of searching for the Pileated Woodpecker’s nesting spot and looking for other spring migratory birds.
The program will be from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M., traversing through moderate terrain. Be prepared with good walking footwear and bring a water bottle. Binoculars are encouraged; extra binoculars will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
