Perseid Meteor Shower Viewing and Walk

Join us at Neale Woods for an easy walk in the twilight followed by a viewing of August “shooting stars” during the Perseid meteor shower. The Perseid meteor shower is the most popular meteor shower of the year, with up to 60-70 meteors per hour at its peak. Bring water, insect repellent, and binoculars to view deep sky objects as desired. Participants must pre-register for this event due to limited space.
