Oak Savanna Hike

Join us on a hike in the oak savanna to learn about the importance of Burr Oaks and how Fontenelle Forest manages the land to help protect this important ecosystem. A naturalist will guide you through Fontenelle Forest’s oak savanna and woodlands, discussing the past, present, and future of the oak trees that live in our forest.  Dress for the weather, bring water, and apply sunscreen and insect repellent.
