Night Hike (Beginner’s Hike)

As the weather cools in September life in the forest begins to prepare for the winter months ahead. Join us for a 1-2 mile hike from the Nature Center as the sun sets and the forest darkens. A naturalist will guide you along the trails as we search for nocturnal animals, and discuss which inhabitants will stay and which will go as winter nears. This is the perfect hike for beginners and those who would like an introduction to our longer monthly night hikes. Bring a flashlight or headlamp, insect repellent, and water. Participants must pre-register for this event. (ages 13+)
