From May 3 through 7, in coordination with Nebraska Bird Month, Fontenelle Forest will be holding a short “Zoomlet” from 12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. each day featuring a different raptor.
Join Denise Lewis, Director of the Fontenelle Forest Raptor Team, for a quick introduction to the raptors of Nebraska.
Schedule:
May 3rd: Peregrine Falcon
May 4th: Red-tailed Hawk
May 5th: Merlin
May 6th: Barn Owl
May 7th: Turkey Vulture
This program is appropriate for all ages,
Cost: FREE for members and non-members.

Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever of Nebraska, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Fontenelle Forest, Audubon at Rowe, Audubon of Omaha, and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies join to educate and provide hands-on experiences in learning about and protecting our bird populations.
