Nature Discovery for Adults: Plants

Explore nature through the eyes of your inner child! Join our Naturalist Educators for an evening of nature-based learning and fun activities for adults.

Spend an evening learning about a plant’s life. We will be discussing the structures of plants, photosynthesis, the life cycle of a plant, and plant adaptations, including those for seed dispersal and pollination. We will also learn how to identify some of the trees in Fontenelle Forest. An optional guided hike will be offered as weather permits.

Class will meet at the Nature Center from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. Social distancing will be in effect. Masks are required inside the Nature Center or whenever participants cannot maintain a safe distance.

Adults ages 18+. Maximum of 25 people per event. Pre-registration is required.

This event is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.  Members must sign in to receive discount.
