Mud Pies: FOREST themed to celebrate the U.N. International Day of Forests

Families across the globe are showing their love of Forests by learning more about modern progress in going green. Do your part with your little ones by sharing in the splendor of the Forest through crafts, hiking, and outdoor play. This week we celebrate the U.N. International Day of Forests (which falls on Thursday, March 21). Make tree crafts with the kiddos and learn a little something about the importance of the Forest around us. Weather permitting, make sure to enjoy a stroll through the Forest to connect the crafts to the natural world!
Every child should experience the magic of holding a snail or smelling a wildflower, and learning alongside a special adult in their life. This school year, connect your child to the natural world by experiencing it together.
Come to Mud Pies, a drop-in program any time between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. for adults and children ages 5 to infant, for hands-on learning and technology-free play indoors and out. Due to the types of activities offered and the amazing benefits of adult-child interaction in nature play, one adult is required to accompany every two children.

Mud Pies is $3 per child for members or $5 per child with daily admission.
