Fall Equinox Hike
September 23 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us to celebrate the beginning of autumn during our Fall Equinox Hike! The Fall Equinox is a unique time of year when the sun is directly above the equator, resulting in the day and night being equal in length. Come learn about this phenomenon as well as the changing fall flora and fauna during the Fall Equinox Hike!
The hike will be about a 30-45 minute hike over moderate terrain as the sun sets. After the sun goes down we will convene inside to decorate fall-themed lanterns. Then we’ll take our creations outside and enjoy s’mores around a bonfire.
Please wear footwear that would be appropriate for walking over slightly uneven terrain and dress (or bring) warm layers since this is a mostly outdoor activity.
