Bluebird Trail Monitoring Meetup

Thank you so much for your interest and participation in monitoring the bluebird trails with Fontenelle Forest! Spring will be here sooner than we think, so it is time to start thinking about our Bluebird Trails.

To help us prepare, we are going to have a Bluebird Monitor Meeting on Tuesday, March 5th, at 6:30 pm at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer bluebird trail monitor, we would love to have you.  And I always love seeing our current monitors too. If you have friends or family that may enjoy participating in bluebird monitoring, please invite them as well.

During this Spring meeting, we will cover:

• why and how we maintain and monitor the bluebird boxes on the trails
• where the trails are located (and any changes you need to know)
• practice opening our nest boxes
• how to sign up for monitoring slots and scheduling using Signup Genius
• meet the newly interested volunteers, and talk to the previous volunteers who may help answer questions.
