Calling all craft beer lovers! That’s right…. It’s back, baby!
Last year, we had to take our annual Beer on the Boardwalk OFF the Boardwalk. This year, we are very excited to announce that we are bringing this event back to the Forest for an in-person event ON the Boardwalk!
Beer on the Boardwalk 2021
Join us for an evening of beer, music, fun and of course nature!
Saturday, October 16th
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Enjoy the unique opportunity to stroll the Fontenelle Forest Riverview Boardwalk while listening to music and taking in the scenic views of the Forest at dusk. Taste a variety of amazing beers from your favorite local breweries.
Breweries will be placed along the first two loops of our ADA-accessible Boardwalk. There will be fun swag, cool prizes and a live DJ!
Come solo, bring a friend, or invite your whole happy hour crew! The more the merrier! Meet some new craft beer-loving friends!

Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

What’s included in the ticket price?
- One (1) 5 oz. Beer on the Boardwalk tasting glass. Additional tasting glasses will be available for purchase at the event.
- Unlimited free beer samples from participating breweries, while supplies last (4 oz. pours, using the tasting glass provided)
- Stroll the boardwalk and enjoy the unique ambiance of the Forest at dusk
- Get in the groove with music from our Live DJ (he takes requests!)
- Applicable sales tax included.
- This event is for ages 21+ only. Please drink responsibly.
- Important: Don’t forget your ID! A current driver’s license will be required for entry – absolutely no exceptions.

Parking and shuttle options:Parking will be available in the main Nature Center parking lot and the north overflow parking lot (follow signage). Event participants can also park in the Marathon Ventures parking lot (901 Fort Crook Rd N, previously Southroads Mall). Ollie the Trolley will shuttle event participants to the Nature Center every 20-30 minutes starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m. A big thank you to Marathon Adventures for the use of their parking lot and Ollie the Trolley for providing a fun and festive ride up the hill to the Forest!
